Fresh Guava

Tiramisu

Fresh Guava Tiramisu is an exotic, yet easy to make dessert that will have everyone asking for the recipe. If you can't find Guava or Passionfruit Infused Liquor, use a Vanilla or Watermelon Liquor instead.

Ingredients

  • One half pint heavy cream
  • 5 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 3 1/3 cups Marscapone Cheese
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Guava pulp
  • 3 Tbsp. Clover Honey
  • 1/4 cup Passionflower of Guava Liquor
  • One Package Ladyfinger cookies
  • Powdered Sugar, 1 or 2 Tbsp.

Place in a large saucepan, the Guava pulp and Honey. Heat on medium until Guava pulp breaks down and is fragrant, about 5 minutes. Set aside and allow to cool.

With a Hand Mixer, Whisk the cream until soft peaks form. Add the Egg yolks and Sugar into cream mixture. Whisk again until stiff peaks form.

In the bottom of an 8 inch by 8 inch by 2 inch deep Baking pan, lay out one layer of Ladyfingers. Drizzle with One-third of the Guava Liquor.

Gently incorporate the Marscapone cheese into the Cream mixture. Place entire Mixing bowl in Refrigerator to keep chilled.

Spread half of the Cream and Marscapone Cheese mixture atop the Ladyfingers. Add another Layer of Ladyfingers, drizzle with Half of the remaining Guava Liquor.

Add remainder of Marscapone and Cream Mixture to the top of the Ladyfingers.

Add last Layer of Ladyfingers, and drizzle with the remaining Guava Liquor.

Chill entire Baking dish in Refrigerator for 4 hours before serving. You can sprinkle top with Cocoa Powder for added flavor.
